Wind Quintet no. 1 is a chamber piece that I composed so that everyone in the quintet has a moment to shine in the piece. There are different motifs and themes that are passed around to each musician. This is a great piece for young wind quintets to have to learn how to keep time and play together. Each part is very unique and there can be times where the musicians might think they are not together, but they are!
